Overview of Halloween Horror Nights 2023 at Universal Studios Florida
Halloween Horror Nights 32 is opening this weekend, and we’ve got all the exciting details you need to know. But be warned, this event is not for the faint of heart and may contain spoilers. Proceed with caution!
Say farewell to the Pumpkin Lord, the icon of last year’s event, and say hello to Dr. Oddfellow, the wicked ringmaster who will take center stage this year. Prepare yourself for a haunting journey through a circus gone mad. And that’s not all – get ready for a magical surprise! The sinister Death Eaters will lurk around the London waterfront, Diagon Alley, and Knockturn Alley on selected dates from Sept. 1 to Nov. 4, 2023.
Halloween Horror Nights 2023 Dates & Tickets
Halloween Horror Nights will be happening on select nights from September through November. But mark your calendars for 2023 because this will be the longest Halloween Horror Nights ever, running from Sept. 1 to Nov. 4 at Universal Studios Florida. Don’t miss out on the spine-chilling fun – the event occurs every Wednesday to Sunday, including Halloween night! Be sure to plan ahead as the crowds get spookier as Halloween approaches.
Remember that Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida is a separately ticketed event.
Halloween Horror Nights hours are 6:30 p.m. to either 1 a.m. or 2 a.m., depending on the night.
If you’re gearing up for the thrill of Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights, it’s important to know that your ticket to HHN doesn’t grant you access to the regular theme parks during their operating hours. For that, you’ll need either a standard park admission or a Scream Early ticket. The latter is convenient if you’re eager to kickstart your fright fest with early entry to Halloween Horror Nights.
For those who find a single evening of terror insufficient, Universal Orlando now offers multi-night tickets. Here are the options you can choose from:
- Rush of Fear Pass: This pass allows you to experience the horror and excitement of the first 18 nights of the event.
- Frequent Fear Pass: With this pass, you have access to every Sunday through Thursday events, plus the first weekend of the event.
- Frequent Fear Plus Pass: This pass takes it up a notch by granting you access to every Sunday through Friday events and the first and last Saturday of the event.
- Ultimate Frequent Fear Pass: For the ultimate horror fan, this pass gives you access to every night of the event and includes free regular parking after 5 p.m. on all event nights.
In addition to these, Universal also offers HHN Express Passes for quick access, R.I.P. Tours for guided experiences, and Behind-the-Screams Tours for a behind-the-scenes look. All of these are currently available directly through Universal. So, brace yourselves and choose the best option for your scare threshold and schedule!
The Best Days To Visit Halloween Horror Nights
Unlike other events that only last one night, this spine-chilling experience draws in guests, especially locals, who can’t resist returning for more. The event’s popularity and the number of locals attending have a significant impact on crowds. Saturdays are the busiest, closely followed by Fridays.
