Mad Monster Film Fest Screening: Saturday 8/24/24

Welcome to Day 2 of the Mad Monster Film Festival 2024! Prepare for a thrilling Saturday, August 24th, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Concord, North Carolina.

Kicking off at 1:00 PM, we present Short Block A, a spine-tingling collection of short films that explore the darkest realms of horror, sci-fi, and fantasy. At 3:00 PM, dive right back in with Short Block B, showcasing even more innovative and chilling tales. Finally, at 5:00 PM, don’t miss our feature film, “F’d: Tales from the End Times,” a gripping narrative set to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Find the Screening Room on the second floor inside the hotel lobby. Enter through the main entrance and take the stairs to the left.

The Fangover

Synopsis: After a night out, Star wakes up in a parking lot, only to discover some mysterious changes happening to her body. She must piece together what has happened while navigating new obstacles and aversions to sunlight and takeout. There is no better cure for a Fangover, than a little hair of the dog…so to speak.

And for no apparent reason other than sheer madness, Shannon and Jacob decided it was time for a remake injecting even more absurdity and laughter into their chaotic creation.

A driver runs out of gas in the middle of nowhere without a phone. Desperate for help, a mysterious phone booth becomes his only hope. As he dials the number for a lifeline, little does he know that this act will plunge him into a whirlwind of hilarity and more insanity once he meets Gloria, a glitzy, yet fabulous dramatic savior.
