There are few Directors more stylistically iconic than Tim Burton. As a master of the macabre he has delighted fans across the world with his movies that always go that little bit extra into the realms of the weird. His artistic designs hold mass appeal from young to old. So it is with great excitement that he is returning to his spooky roots with a sequel to his 1988 horror comedy, Beetlejuice. Managing to avoid the issues currently gripping Hollywood, Beetlejuice 2 has wrapped and is currently in post-production at a “mental asylum” (Tim’s words not ours) in France.
Back in August in an exclusive interview with Famous Monsters for the relaunch issue of their legendary magazine later this year, Tim spoke about his love of monsters and reuniting with the cast of Beetlejuice. He also spoke about an issue concerning the movie industry at large…The growth of AI and its abilities. In this exclusive clip from the Famous Monsters interview. Tim speaks about his feelings and how he feels AI although impressive might not necessarily be for the good of the industry.
Be sure to check out the full interview over at Famous Monsters later this year.
