Hannah Fierman is directing a unique psychological horror film entitled The Events Surrounding A Peeping Tom.  Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), Damian Maffei (The Strangers: Prey at Night, Wrong Turn, Haunt), Kate Kiddo (Terror Trips), and Kamarra Cole (Time’s Up) are set to star.

I am extremely excited. Here’s why. The script was written by Brian James Fitzpatrick. Several weeks ago, Damian Maffei let me look at the script. I’ve read a lot of scripts. I can easily say this has lots of potential. It’s a very creepy, unique, and exciting story.

A great script coupled with a creative director and a talented cast has the potential of an amazing indie horror movie in the making.

The success of the film depends on us, horror fans. One of the trickiest parts of making a great horror film is having the financing available. Simply put, it takes money.

I have to say that I am incredibly disappointed in Hollywood for not cutting a check to this crew to make this film. At a time when Hollywood claims they want to be more inclusive and elevate more female horror directors, The Events Surrounding a Peeping Tom would be the perfect opportunity for a Blumhouse, Legendary Entertainment, Platinum Dunes, A24, or Lionsgate to set up. That’s why it’s essential for us in the horror community to step up and support the indie community.

Synopsis:  The Events Surrounding a Peeping Tom is the disturbing story of Martin Malone, a lonely Peeping Tom who finds himself caught and arrested following a misstep. As he nears the end of his court-mandated rehabilitation, Martin is still unable to fight his urges and begins to peep again. It is then that he discovers Rowan, the girl of his dreams. As his obsession with her grows, he begins to suspect that she may be involved with the occult. Using his peeping skills, Martin begins an investigation that leads him down a twisted path to something more horrible than anything he could ever imagine and realizes that all the while, he’s being watched himself.
