The rules are simple don’t eat people in the first trailer released for Venom: Let There Be Carnage. But you know what they say. Rules are meant to be broken. The film is directed by Andy Serkis from a screenplay by Kelly Marcel, with a story by Marcel and Tom Hardy. It stars Hardy as Eddie Brock (Venom) with Woody Harrelson in the role of the villain Cletus Kasady/Carnage.
The film is set for release on September 24, 2021. Venom: Let There Be Carnage was initially scheduled to be released on October 2, 2020, then it was postponed to June 25, 2021. The film was postponed again to September 17, 2021, and now to September 24, 2021. It appears that Sony is betting that moviegoers will be back in theaters in late September.
